Step-by-Step Guide for Assignment Submission
Step 1: Open Google Drive and Create a Folder
- Open Google Drive in your browser.
- On the left-hand side, click on “My Drive”.
- In the dropdown menu, click on “New” and then select “Folder”.
- Name the folder appropriately (e.g., “Assignment Submission”) and click “Create”.
Step 2: Upload Your Document
- Open the folder you just created.
- Click the “+” icon (New button) in the top-left corner of Google Drive.
- Select “File upload” from the menu.
- Locate your document (e.g., Word, Excel, PDF) on your computer and click “Open” to upload it.
- Files that are not in the listed formats (Word, Excel, PDF) must be converted to avoid receiving an error message. For example, CSV files should be converted to XLS. Need further assistance? speak with student support.

Step 3: Locate the File and Click on the Three Dots
- After the upload is complete, find the file in the folder you created.
- Right-click the file and select the three dots (more options) next to the file name.

Step 4: Manage Access
- From the menu that appears, click on “Manage access”.
- Under “General access”, click the “Restricted” option.
- Change it to “Anyone with the link”.

Step 5: Copy the Link
- After changing to “Anyone with the link”, click “Copy link”.
- The link is now copied to your clipboard.
Step 6: Prepare the Submission Document
- Follow the submission format as specified by the student support or instructions given.
- For example:
- Go to your Study Page at edu.infinityresearchconsultant.com.
- Locate the assignment submission section.
- Fill in the assignment details, such as:
- Assignment title: Course content e.g Data Manipulation
- Assignment Text: Assignment 2_Kunle Afolayan_IRC/25/010/DA
- Upload Doc: Upload your file (Excel, Word, or PDF).
- Assignment Link: Paste the link to your Google Drive document.
- Click Submit once all fields are filled.
